Joining The Shaftesbury is quick, easy and unbelievable value for money. Adults and children are welcome, any age, any experience. New members receive a welcome pack with goodies, information on how to purchase incredible club kit from our partners at No Pinz (if you fancy it, it's not mandatory!) and immediately given opportunity to be connected with members and integrated into the club. If of interest a read only 'News' channel on WhatsApp keeps you up to date and an interactive and respectful 'Chat' group on cycling themes to stay connected – purely optional, to join or leave as you wish.

Our distinctive kit is supplied by the Devon based cycling clothing specialist NoPinz, availabile exclusively to club members the range includes all types of kit for casual riding, racing and off road activities. Members can order directly from NoPinz at favourable prices across the whole range.
Membership Fees
Adult
Women and men's membership for all ages. In UK cycling riders become ‘veterans' at age 40, and can continue to compete up to all ages with no limit. Club competitions include handicap categories and Vets categories so no matter the age or relative speed anyone can have a chance to compete.
- Standard membership is £25 per year
- Second family member in same household is £15 per year
- Senior citizen (65+) is £10 per year
- Second claim members pay £10 per year
Students
Young riders are especially welcome and enjoy their own category in the Evening 10 races and are eligible for stunning silver trophies among the club's impressive trophy range. The club reserves a place on committee for a junior rep to ensure the young riders are always listened to.
