Entries Closing Soon! The Shaftesbury Open 50
In less than two weeks time the Shaftesbury will be hosting its annual 50 mile time trial. This year the F2/50 in Cambridegshire will play host to the event, it is a fast course with a great road surface, perfect for hitting a PB.
One of the oldest events in the TT calendar, the event is the current host to the competition record, set by Marcin Bialoblocki in 2018. Prior champions include names such as Hutchinson, Cammish, Dawson and many more.
In 2022, Team Bottrill did the double, winning both the mens and womens events courtesy of Tom Hutchinson, fresh from his efforts in the Sub7 Ironman, and 2022 womens BAR champion Kate Allen.
NEW FOR 2023 - The "Shaftesbury Centenary Trophy" has been awarded to the winner of the open 50 every year since 1988. From this event onwards, the trophy will be jointly awarded to the fastest male and fastest female competitor. Want to get your name on a piece of history? Now is the chance!
